UNDISPUTED | Skip reacts to Patrick Mahomes says Super Bowl LV loss was “worst I’ve been beaten in long time”

If you’re still a bit surprised that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are somehow the perfect match, the two stars themselves are right there with you.  Blake spoke to Today’s Natalie Morales on Wednesday, Feb. 10, where he discussed the recent Super Bowl ad that he and Gwen appeared in for T-Mobile. In the spot, Gwen reaches out to former The Voice coach Adam Levine in a fake flashback and explains what she’s looking for in a man. But because of the garbled connection, Adam ends up hearing the exact opposite of what she wants, and hence, he thinks of Blake.  “That’s what was funny about that commercial,” the 44-year-old country superstar explained during his Today appearance.   While the couple have proven to be ideal for each other and announced their engagement in October after five years together, they also realize that fans continue to express confusion about their pairing.   “Every day, if I look at social media or wherever, there’s always somebody commenting, going, ‘Man, what the hell happened to this world where Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are a thing now,'” Blake said, smiling. “So we thought it’d be fun to have some fun with it.” Luckily, they’re having the last laugh, not to mention that their famous fans continue to support the relationship. Indeed, Miley Cyrus recently offered her services as a wedding singer for the upcoming nuptials. The exchange began on Jan. 31 when Gwen complimented Miley on her performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts. The “Prisoner” singer was understandably thrilled by the praise and then added, “ALSO @gwenstefani @blakeshelton I’ll be your wedding singer! I promise to be on my best behavior. Or worst. whatever you want! It’s your special day! Cheers to loving you both almost as much as you love each other!”   See, Blake? There’s at least one fan who can wrap their head around this match.   (E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.) read more

You know Paris Hilton. How could you not? The hotel heiress has been part of our cultural zeitgeist for the better part of two decades, having stepped out of the shadow of her family name to become an “It Girl,” author, reality TV personality, producer, actor, tabloid fodder, pop star, activist, entrepreneur, model, convicted probation violator, DJ, and an early influencer in the fledgling days of social media. “Famous for being famous,” Hilton’s life has seemingly played out on TV screens, paparazzi cameras, and Instagram, so what could a documentary tell us that we don’t already know? As she states in the trailer for This Is Paris, “I feel like the whole world thinks they know me—no one really knows who I am.” read more

Rich Lowry, editor of the conservative National Review, and Claire McCaskill, former Democratic senator, join TODAY to comment on the third night of the Democratic National Convention. McCaskill says that Kamala Harris did a good job letting people know “who she is and where she came from,” and Lowry calls her speech a “good introduction.” McCaskill also praises former President Obama’s “towering and sobering” speech, and Lowry says “we’ve never heard on president talk about another” as Obama did about Trump.

According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the President has basically stopped talking to the members of the Coronavirus task force, including Fauci himself, in recent weeks. This doesn’t mean that the pandemic is over, it just means that Trump has grown bored of it and has found something new to capture his attention. The U.S. is still reeling from the crisis, and Trump couldn’t care less. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

The Government will “certainly be developing” the concept of air bridges or “travel corridors” in the hope of moving away from a blanket quarantine, Boris Johnson has said.

The Prime Minister was quizzed about the new 14-day measures, which are due to start on June 8 and run until June 28 at the earliest.

At the daily Downing Street press conference he said: “On the air corridors, I don’t want to go into the negotiations we are having but, clearly, we are discussing with our partners around the whole of Europe about what could be done.” read more
