Brandon Lewis says Alok Sharma might have 'severe hay fever' not coronavirus
Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis has said that Alok Sharma might have "severe hay fever", not coronavirus, after the Business Secretary was taken ill yesterday in the House of Commons.
Mr Sharma was tested for covid-19 and is awaiting his results.
The government is now under pressure to over turn the decision to force MPs to appear in person to vote in the Commons, and instead bring back the virtual Parliament.
