Storage King CEO Michael Tate has revealed how his company was forced to adapt under the current climate.

Mr Tate told Sky News host Tim Gilbert business was forced to “change a lot” in a very quick period of time following the outbreak of the coronavirus.

“The biggest thing is the uncertainty… but we’ve never worked harder in our lives to be honest with you,” he said.

New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs and the province’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell provided an update on Friday regarding the number of COVID-19 cases in the province.

Two new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the province, bringing the total number to 128.

Dr. Russell said during the press conference that there’s a cluster of COVID-19 cases now in Zone 5 of the province, which covers the Campbellton, N.B. region. As of Thursday, there were six cases in that region. read more

Quebec Premier François Legault held a media briefing on Friday after his visit to one of the province’s COVID-19 hot spots, the city of Joliette.

Legault announced that personal-care services can start re-opening in the Greater Montreal area as of June 15.

The list of services range from hair and beauty salons, skin care, hair removal, barbers, hairdressers, nail salons and other services.

Premier Legault said in his announcement that not everyone is lucky to have a wife with so many skills like his wife to cut his hair. read more

Gov. Murphy’s daily update on the coronavirus in N.J. What do you want to hear from him today?

Papille is a 9-year-old cat who lives in France. When her owner came down with COVID-19 earlier this year, the faithful kitty would snuggle up against him in bed. But soon, Papille fell ill, as well. At first, her humans didn’t know what was wrong with her. They wondered if she might also have contracted COVID-19, and they took her to a vet school outside of Paris to get tested. Sure enough, Papille tested positive.

British Columbia health officials reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and two additional deaths attributed to the virus.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said B.C. has now recorded 2,558 cases in total, 84 per cent of whom have recovered.

Of the 241 active cases in the province, 33 are in hospital and six of those are in intensive care.

The province’s death toll is now 164.

Meanwhile, a new outbreak has been declared at a long-term care facility in the Fraser Health region, bringing the total number of residential or acute care facilities dealing with the virus to 16. read more

The prime minister met with state and territory leaders on Friday in the National Cabinet, where it was agreed Australia has completed step one in lifting COVID-19 restrictions.

A student from Keilor Downs Secondary College in Melbourne’s north-west has tested positive to coronavirus.

The school has now been closed for cleaning.

A teacher at the school tested positive earlier in the week.

Update: Orange County officials were providing updates on COVID-19. #coronavirus #COVID19

Saskatchewan reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, raising the provincial total to 639.

The province also reported nine more recoveries, bringing the number of recoveries to 568.

Health officials said one new case is in the far north while the other is in Saskatoon, where a new community outbreak was declared on Wednesday.
They said the outbreak is linked to two large family gatherings earlier in May when upwards of 60 people gathered.

Public health orders currently limit the size of public and private gatherings to no more than 10 people. read more

New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs and the province’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell are expected to provide an update on the province’s case of COVID-19 and will discuss the government’s ongoing response to the pandemic.

The premier confirmed one new case of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 123.

He said the three recent confirmed cases in Zone 5 are still active and are contacts of one case of a health-care worker who travelled to Quebec and did not self-isolate upon return to New Brunswick. read more

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is expected to hold a briefing on Thursday to provide the latest update on the U.S. government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

McEnany said on Tuesday that Trump was “displeased” with actions being taken by China regarding national security laws proposed for Hong Kong, and said the president doesn’t see how Hong Kong could “remain a financial hub if China takes over.”
