President Trump said Tuesday that he is instructing his administration to halt funding to the World Health Organization (WHO) during an investigation. He alleged the WHO was “severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus.” Watch is remarks here from the White House Rose Garden.

U.S. President Donald Trump and the U.S. coronavirus task force provided an update on the COVID-19 crisis on Friday.
Trump said that “tremendous progress is being made” and that there are signs the COVID-19 curve in the country is beginning to level due to “aggressive” strategies including physical distancing. Trump added that he thinks the death toll will be “substantially” less than 100,000, which was initially predicted as a potential outcome of the pandemic in the U.S.
He also said that the medical supply for health care workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in the country is “in great shape,” and that the Department of Defense will also be sending 10 million N95 masks. Over 2 million virus tests have been completed and approximately 100,000 more are being conducted every day, stated Trump.
