My friend Dave and I spoke only Mandarin Chinese together for 24 hours. He’s a Chinese American who grew up speaking Fujianese*, and I’m a white guy who speaks pretty good but definitely not perfect Mandarin. This was an epic 24 hour challenge** that really pushed both of us to our language learning limits.

Speaking only in hindi with my friends, As a south indian knowing hindi is not compulsory, but its always good to know different language. if you ask me how i learned hindi its cause i use to watch hindi movies and had north indian friend growing up and obv it improved after coming to mumbai too. 😊
