The new 2021 Ram TRX is designed for class-leading, uncompromising performance in the harshest environments. Stratospheric power and performance numbers were achieved in part through a new, innovative dual-path air induction system that ensures the 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 engine receives a steady supply of clean, cool air regardless of inbound dirt and debris.
The Ram TRX uses two paths to draw in outside air and routes it to a large, 29-liter air box that filters out dirt, sand, debris and water before getting anywhere near the engine. The innovative dual-path system pulls in outside air from a functional scoop in the hood and the upper edge of the grille. Air entering the grille flows to the bottom front of the air box, guided by tailored panels. The hood scoop ducts air to the bottom rear of the air box via ports that seal to the hood when it is closed. An air box support bar is precision-mounted in the engine compartment during vehicle assembly to ensure the hood intake seals to the air box ducts to prevent engine-heated air from entering the system.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is aimed squarely at the Ford F-150 Raptor but some would argue these two performance trucks are not direct rivals. One solid argument would have to be the price gap of 16,00 US dollar when comparing the base versions as the Ram is a lot more expensive even reaching six figures in fully loaded form. Then there is a major power difference considering the TRX has an extra 252 horsepower and 190Nm of torque over the Blue Oval speedy pickup.

British Columbia’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix provided an update on the province’s COVID-19 response on Tuesday.
Three more people, all of them residents of long-term care homes, died due to COVID-19 in British Columbia, Henry reported.
She also announced 27 new confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the province’s total to 1,517.
Henry reported one additional long-term care facility outbreak, which brought the number of care homes or assisted living facilities with ongoing active COVID-19 outbreaks to 21.
B.C. has recorded 11 COVID-19 deaths since Saturday, says B.C.’s provincial health officer.
A visibly emotional Dr. Bonnie Henry said Monday the majority of those new deaths were linked to outbreaks in seniors’ care homes.
The virus has now killed 69 British Columbians — more than half of them in seniors’ facilities.
British Columbia confirmed 45 new cases Monday, bringing the provincial total to 1,490 lab-confirmed cases of the virus — about two thirds of whom have fully recovered.
More than 250 of B.C.’s COVID-19 cases are linked to outbreaks in 20 Metro Vancouver seniors’ homes.
