Coronavirus outbreak: Saskatchewan officials discuss provincial reopening plans | FULL

Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO Scott Livingstone and other officials are expected to speak on Wednesday regarding ongoing COVID-19 measures and are expected to release details on easing visitor restrictions at health care facilities, including long-term care homes.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said Tuesday that the government would begin lifting travel restrictions related to the novel coronavirus pandemic in the northwest as of June 8, and that La Loche would move into Phases 1 and 2 of the province’s reopening plan.

Phase 3 of the reopening plan, which goes into effect on June 8, will be delayed until further notice in the northwest region, though outdoor gatherings will be allowed to increase to 20 people. Indoor gatherings will remain limited to 10 people in the region.
