Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams and associate chief medical officer of health Dr. Barbara Yaffe are expected to provide an update on the latest COVID-19 cases in the province and discuss the public health agency's ongoing response to the pandemic on Friday.
Dr. Williams reported Thursday that Ontario saw 459 new COVID-19 cases to bring the total to 16,187. The province also had 86 additional deaths to bring that total to 1,082.
