The latest 7.1-magnitude earthquake near Ridgecrest, California, comes a day after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the area. That temblor has produced more than 1,400 aftershocks, scientists said.BREAKING: #California has now had 17 felt earthquakes in the past 36 hours, according to the #EMSC.
