idk how many people have been watching the mcu from when thor first was released but i thought this film was great. thor has totally come a huge way from his first film and i really love that character development – it makes him a really interesting to watch. i definitely think that the plot for the second thor film was not great and really didn’t improve the overall story of the mcu or thor and jane’s relationship, tho there were some good cinematography moments. it’s a little shame that jane couldn’t have appeared in more stuff earlier on but i’m surprised (in a good way) that marvel actually made the effort to bring natalie portman back in and continue this storyline that in way could have been left after thor ragnarok. she was definitely a strong point for me in the first film and along with loki, was a character that i clearly remember being in that first film. lastly, taika waititi has really changed the colour palette for thor, from the first two being beige and dull, to a fun, vibrant movie and he’s done a great job w that.

My Mom was a nice person when she wasn’t drinking. The problem was that she was drinking almost all the time. Honestly, everyone in our family hated her and didn’t want to have anything to do with her because she was always asking for money and causing problems for everyone. At first, they wanted me to move to my grandfather’s house, but he said he never wanted anything to do with my Mother or me. He didn’t even come to the funeral.
Almost no one did, in fact. It was only me and her brother’s family. He had a wife and a daughter, a year younger than me. Nobody even talked… and I felt so alone. The family of my uncle decided to take me in, although honestly, they really didn’t want to.
