[Expansion of cultural cooperation through culture, tourism, and Korean Wave(Hallyu)]
The world's interest in the entertainment industry in Korea such as K-pop music, K-movies, and K-games is leading to interest in Korean culture, Korean language, tourism, and even purchase of Korean products. Hallyu(Korean-wave) was once regarded as a temporary, accidental event, but it is now recognized as a persistent, undeniable phenomenon. Rather than discussing Hallyu from a narrow perspective, this session aims to view Hallyu as a new medium that can be enjoyed by people around the world and connect the world as one. To this end, Hallyu will be viewed from the perspective of cultural exchange and international cooperation, and we will discuss how to develop it.
