I need a fix on a cracked pool pipe. After having a 2 professional plumbers and a pool guy come out and tell me the cost to fix this, From $300 to $500. I decided to TEST a bandaid for a couple months before I replace everything. The Backflow valve is actually not sold anymore anyway so I will have to replace it sometime when I replace the whole pump and filter system. Will this Flex tape product, as seen on tv, actually work? I have my doubts but lets see. Is it worth the incredible price tag? Since FLEX SEAL does NOT work in the ARIZONA Heat we needed something thicker and stronger that wouldn't decompose and crack under the heat of the SUN.
