In just under 13 weeks, 100,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the U.S. Those lost were veterans, grocery clerks, nurses, students, musicians, activists, and so much more. And yet, this is not an endpoint. We are likely to have tens of thousands more deaths. As we grieve, what have we learned about preventing or at least reducing them? Aired on 5/27/2020.

FEB 24, 2020: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi toured San Francisco's Chinatown Monday to send a message. She said there's no reason tourists or locals should be staying away from the area because of coronavirus concerns.

"That’s what we’re trying to do today is to say everything is fine here," Pelosi said. "Come because precautions have been taken. The city is on top of the situation."

MAR 30, 2020 : New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told residents not to change their lifestyle.

“It’s important, just go about your lives, continue living as you have,” de Blasio said, adding at a later date, “This should not stop you from going about your life. It should not stop you from going to Chinatown and going out to eat.”

As recently as March 13, de Blasio said, “We want people still to go on about their lives.”

All we had to do is look at his response to the Hurricane that hit Puerto Rico. All the needless deaths as a result of his gross incompetence and mismanagement of that natural disaster. Trump caused genocide of the Kurds due to his gross incompetence and mismanagement of the Middle East just to make his bff Erdogan happy. When it comes to saving lives trump is a failure. He has more blood on his hand than Putin and Kim combined within these few years he has been in office. He is not at the level of Hitler, Pal Pot, Stalin at taking lives but he is a serial killer none the less
