VANGUARD: The 4 NEW RANKING SYSTEMS FULLY EXPLAINED (COD Vanguard Progression Systems)
Call of Duty: Vanguard is expanding upon existing systems for XP and ranking this year while also bringing forward new ones that players can interact with in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Vanguard’s main systems will include your traditional ranking system of XP going towards your overall level (starting with your initial “Enlisted” ranks then going into the seasonal prestige system with multiple prestiges likely introduced per season), your weapon XP and progression system as we’ve seen for many years now where you can rank up your Vanguard weapons, a new Operator XP progression system that will allow players to earn and unlock new gear for their operator (one described greatly reminiscent of Hero Gear from Black Ops 3) as well as your final progression system in the way of Clan XP where you can play with your squad across Vanguard MP, Zombies or Warzone and earn additional rewards.
Sledgehammer is known to give players a bit more grindable content and it seems the basic and fundamental ranking systems of COD Vanguard look to be no different.
