Oh snap! You're watching Rich TVX News Network! The source of raw, breaking news.

After seeing this performance in February, I knew I had to cover it. It was one of the best Half Time performances that I have ever seen. He performed some of his most infamous songs and had the perfect transitions between all of them making this one of the most fun performances that I have ever done.

I have yet to see anyone cover this performance so I hope you enjoy this video.

In years past, many viewers tuned in to the Super Bowl not only for the athleticism and excitement of football but also to enjoy the spectacle of commercials that air during one of the most popular sporting events in the United States. Now, those following the Super Bowl can also add memes to the night’s entertainment. On Sunday night, amid a range of commercials and a halftime performance by singer The Weeknd, plenty of memes flooded social media.Whether it was Twitter freaking out over the nostalgia of 3D Doritos or getting motion sickness from The Weeknd’s performance, there were plenty of laughs to be had online. Here’s our round up of the best memes from Super Bowl LIV.Oatly’s CEO and that bizarre commercialCommercials are frequently fodder for memes and there is no better time to meme them than during the Super Bowl. One that stuck out to those on social media featured Oatly’s CEO Toni Petersson singing in a field about the company’s oat milk product. The bizarre song, which Petersson wrote himself, according to Adweek, featured lyrics, “It’s like milk. Like made for humans. Wow.”That commercial was so bad that I’ll never buy Oatly milk ever.— Joseph P. Huber (@JosephPHuber) February 8, 2021 Oatly commercial is the only one that accurately illustrates our collective mental state— Cherie Hu (@cheriehu42) February 8, 2021 the CEO of oatly is now my sworn enemy— marisa kabas (@MarisaKabas) February 8, 2021 Immediately, the commercial began trending on social media with people saying they never wanted to buy Oatly again because of how cringeworthy the spot was.“the CEO of oatly is now my sworn enemy,” tweeted writer Marissa Kabas.“That commercial was so bad that I’ll never buy Oatly milk ever,” tweeted Joseph P. Huber, community strategist for Social Sprout, a social media software company.either they forced the ceo of oatly to do that or he wanted to and neither will make me happy— 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗯 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 (@calebsaysthings) February 8, 2021 Comedian Caleb Hearon tweeted he wasn’t sure how the commercial came to be, but regardless, he was not pleased.“either they forced the ceo of oatly to do that or he wanted to and neither will make me happy,” Hearon tweeted.Drake’s swole State Farm commercialAnother commercial that captivated the internet was a State Farm commercial featuring rapper Drake as a stand-in for the face of the insurance company, “Jake From State Farm.”Although the light-hearted commercial, which also featured cameos from actor Paul Rudd and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, appeared to be generally well-received, many took the advertisement as an opportunity to both dunk on and praise Drake, who appeared noticeably buff in the spot.Nothing Was The Same since @Drake From @StateFarm dropped. pic.twitter.com/29eEnwUb0f— Republic Records (@RepublicRecords) February 8, 2021 How Drake looked in the State Farm commercial pic.twitter.com/OREyw4WaUG— Josiah Johnson (@KingJosiah54) February 8, 2021 s/o drake from state farm 😂 pic.t read more

See the introduction of the The Weeknd’s Halftime Show with the n.1 single Call Out My Name, in HD.

The Weeknd performed in the Super Bowl LV halftime show Sunday night.  The Weeknd took the stage Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers battled for the championship title.  The Weeknd started the show off with his hit single “Starboy” after being lowered into the stadium from the ceiling. Pretty exceptional intro made even cooler by the wall of backup singers he had on the stage.  Of course, he followed up with “The Hills.”  The choreography for “Can’t Feel My Face” with the funhouse mirror mazes was amazing.    We even got on-field choreography that definitely gave me Beyoncé vibes, but I really enjoyed it. The transition from “House Of Balloons” into “Blinding Lights” was what we needed from this show.  The show naturally ended with a fireworks show for the ages.    This halftime performance was a little different than the past years. With coronavirus keeping the stadium from filling up, the show was geared more for the people watching from home. The Weeknd even spent $7 million of his own money on the show to make it exactly what he wanted it to be, according to his manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby.    Performing at the Super Bowl has been a career goal for The Weeknd.  “We always had the Super Bowl on our bucket list, and we’ve always had timelines for all of our goals,” The Weeknd’s other manager Amir “Cash” Esmailian told Billboard. “It came a few years earlier than we expected.” read more

it’s been a long road for the Canadian who’s rise to fame managed to happen slowly and surely — yet all at once. The community was intrigued when he first surfaced online, but once hits like “Earned It” and “Can’t Feel My Face” hit the airwaves, the world took notice.

#ICYMI: We’ve been living for The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV Halftime Show!

For the first time in Super Bowl history, the #PepsiHalftimeShow stage was not on the field but instead, in the stands and revealed a spectacular cityscape structure where The Weeknd performed his career-spanning set.

Presented with a unique COVID-era challenge, veteran Super Bowl Production Designer, Bruce Rodgers of @Tribe, Inc, along with a uniquely multi-disciplined team pulled off an extraordinary affair.

TAIT was honored to reunite with key players of the live event industry and be part of an incredible show, sharing the joy that live performance brings to so many people.  read more

With the COVID-19 pandemic still in full swing, had to up the ante for his halftime show at Super Bowl LV, which only 25,000 fans were allowed to attend — surrounded by 30,000 cardboard cutouts — in a nearly 66,000-seat stadium. And up the ante he did.  The three-time Grammy winner, 30, dazzled on stage at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday, February 7, during a break in the NFL championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the course of 14 minutes, he took the crowd — and millions of viewers at home — through his music catalog with singles including “The Hills,” “I Feel It Coming” and an orchestral version of the Fifty Shades of Grey song “Earned It.”   (real name Abel Tesfaye) kicked off his high-energy performance with “Starboy” in front of a massive choir in the stands. He wore his signature red sequined jacket over an otherwise all-black outfit. He then took viewers into a gold, mirrored room, surrounded by a group of lookalikes with bandaged heads. Toward the end, he and his backup dancers made their way to the field to “House of Balloons” from his 2011 debut mixtape of the same name. He closed his set with “Blinding Lights” as fireworks went off above the stadium.  In the days leading up to the big gig, the Toronto native revealed that he had used $7 million of his own money to give the audience a halftime show they would never forget.  “We’ve been really focusing on dialing in on the fans at home and making performances a cinematic experience, and we want to do that with the Super Bowl,” he teased in his recent Billboard cover story.  The NFL announced in November 2020 that had signed on to headline the halftime show, following in the footsteps of iconic performers such as Michael Jackson, Prince, , and . He said in a statement at the time that he was “humbled, honored and ecstatic” to be in the same position as the acts “we all [grew] up watching.”  To celebrate the milestone, the chart-topper released a greatest hits-style album titled The Highlights on Friday, February 5, which his team said in a press release offers new listeners “a rich foray into some of the iconic artist’s best and favorite work.” In addition to his biggest solo hits, the compilation includes collaborations with (“Love Me Harder”), (“Pray for Me”) and Daft Punk (“Starboy” and “I Feel It Coming”).   also announced an ambitious 104-date world tour named after his 2020 album, After Hours. It is set to begin in January 2022 and will travel across North America and Europe through November. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 8, at 10 a.m. local time. read more

The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV halftime performance will be the focus of the new Showtime documentary The Show that goes behind the scenes of the 13-minute gig. The 90-minute Pepsi-produced documentary, directed by Nadia Hallgren, will air later this year. Pepsi also dropped a teaser for the upcoming film. The Show will showcase the months of planning that went into the halftime show — watched by an audience of nearly 100 million — as well as an in-depth look into the Jesse Collins’ Super Bowl production. “Anchored by the Weeknd’s dynamic performance, The Show is a worthy snapshot of the tremendous artistry and effort that goes into the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show,” Showtime’s  Executive Vice President Content Acquisition said in a statement. “Jesse Collins has been absolutely passionate about this project, and Nadia Hallgren brings the kind of energy and insight that will make this behind-the-scenes look a transformative experience and something unique for Showtime viewers.”   Hallgren added: “This historic year with Jesse Collins as the first Black EP of the Halftime Show brought an opportunity to tell a new story. We get a window into the process of a diverse team of executives and creatives working at the highest level, in front of and behind the camera. It’s fun to see these masters at work while they also uplift others. I hope this can inspire people to pursue big dreams.” read more
