If you’re looking for interesting European cities that are off the beaten path, make sure Moldova is on your list! I had a wonderful time exploring their capital city, Chisinau and would highly recommend it. Moldova is incredibly budget friendly if you’re coming from the west and I found it to be very welcoming. OMG GUYS! The last 3 days of my life have been spent in the world’s least visited country called Nauru in the Pacific Islands. Have you ever heard of Nauru before? Less than 200 tourists a YEAR visit this tiny-island nation called Nauru of 10,000 residents, and it’s a fascinating place.
If you know me, then you’ll know that nothing excites me more than visiting obscure places… Nauru is my 155th country, and maybe the most interesting one yet, and I cannot wait to tell you all about it!! PSA: NAURU IS AMAZING!

Yep, I travelled to what the internet deems the least visited country in the world. The reality is that the statistics behind this are far from perfect. Many of these small countries don’t actually count how many people come visit. So it’s very hard to really tell which country truly has the least visitors. Either way, I went to Tuvalu, which is somewhere in the bottom of the list… and my experience was shocking.
