Hasan revisited the popular Facebook group Subtle Asian Traits to answer more questions, but this time he had some help from his parents Najme and Seema. A Facebook group called ‘Subtle Asian Traits,’ which was started by a small group of Asian-Australian high school students, has recently grown to a staggering 1.1 million members. The group consists mostly of first-generation Asian immigrants sharing their unique experiences and struggles often through photos and memes. As someone who knows the struggle all too well, Hasan decided to join the group and answer questions from the members about his own experience growing up as a first generation American.
