Converting a rear gas tank lawn tractor to a gravity fed fuel tank required a battery relocation and removing the rear gas tank to accommodate the battery. Many subscribers told me that my initial set up where I simply lowered the battery and put the gas tank directly above it was unsafe. Since I had never removed the rear fenders and relocated battery cables before, I thought it would be an interesting video, so I decided to do what my subscribers want. It was interesting and fun.

Free Sears tractor from a friend. Unfortunately, an untrained small engine mechanic took the motor apart. In this video, we will do some small engine troubleshooting to see if it is worth fixing. Free Sears LT2000, should we fix it or scrap it?
Today I pack up a mtd transmission and sending it off to a subscriber who saw it on one of my videos and needed it. I finish off my mtd cub cadet project by painting it and fixing the cracks in an otherwise good condition tractor seat.
My friends Larry and Bobby gave me the idea to use Gorilla Tape, and Nick from Medford told me to heat it up like shrink wrap with a propane torch.
I drove it out of the garage today and into the back yard to make room in the garage for my next project.
A milestone today as I add a new outro from my first female small engine wrencher to my video outro library.
The next victim is pushed into the mowers n blowers garage and hopefully will be driven out as we drive out the repaired Craftsman LT1000 after 3 episodes of repair videos.

In episode 2 of my L100 fix, I installed a dual circuit stator to replace the 10/16 amp stator that was originally on the engine. I added a starter motor, replaced the magneto, drained the gas tank and blew it out. Added a battery and gave it a first crank. It started up with go go juice and turned over!

Nick Ierardi gave me a tip on a tractor that the owner wanted gone, since he couldn’t get it himself, he gave me the opportunity to have it. I also sold the hood for $75 from my toro 1238xl that I picked off the curb for free. The tractor is very rough, but the engine turns over!

Took me all day to install the new mower deck belt and mower deck and figure out the adjustment to the PTO engagement. I also fixed the headlight switch and why the battery wasn’t charging.
