There are tons of theories out there concerning the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Endgame and our dear friend Thanos doesn’t survive most of them, but could they really defeat the Mad Titan for good? It’s time for us to debunk this theory for good. We’ll talk about what kind of villain Thanos really is, both in the comic books and in the MCU, and what this means for his fate. Although she may hate him, Thanos is an important part of Nebula’s backstory and where would she be if he finally disappeared? We also know that, in the comic books, he has dealings with a character named Adam Warlock who we caught a glimpse of during the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

In Marvel’s Avengers Endgame we learned that Captain America is worthy of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. That is a BIG revelation and it made me wonder – who else is worthy? The scene in Age of Ultron made it seem like no one else was worthy but I believe that over the course of the last few film, that answer is no longer correct. Who is worthy? Time to find out!

It’s no secret that the Russo Brothers love putting the Red Skull into their movies. Many fans wondered what happened to Johann Schmidt following the events of Captain America: The First Avenger and were surprised to see him make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. While Red Skull claimed to be guarding the Soul Stone and told Thanos he’d be required to sacrifice Gamora, was that really the case? Is it possible that the Red Skull was actually playing the long game and trying to ensure he could claim an Infinity Stone of his own in the future? We’ll explore this interesting theory which could tie into some aspects of Asgardian history.

Say what you want about Thanos, but he knows how to get things done. He’s accomplished the unthinkable by collecting all of the Infinity Stones and causing the decimation during Avengers: Infinity War, but in light of this recent victory, we can’t help but think of a decidedly more hare-brained scheme he once tried to pull off during The Avengers. Out of all of his loyal minions, why did Thanos use Loki to invade Earth and steal the Tesseract? Why didn’t he use his Black Order or his favorite child, Gamora? Instead, he sent Loki along with the precious Mind Stone to Earth, which seems like a pretty terrible idea, but could this really have been an advanced strategy Thanos initiated because of the events of Captain Marvel?

The problem with people who have plans that involve major sacrifices is that they generally think they’re going to come out okay. Sure, Thanos thought his plan to kill half of everybody was dispassionate and fair, an indifferent plan to destroy half of life to save the other half. When Thanos was planet hopping, that was an easy sell. He was never going to be on the list, but someone had to enact the plan.

INTRO
The new single “Be Nice” from The Black Eyed Peas (which was written by Adam Friedman for the Songland TV show), has a super fun bass line that’s not only the central focus of the song, but it’s also perfect for conveying the super positive message behind the lyrics. So what makes this bass line feel so good? Well, there’s a few things, like the fact that it’s built around an ascending line, which is literally uplifting. But far more interesting than that, is the fact that the bass line is in a minor key. And as you probably know, major keys are usually used in feel good songs like this. So how do they make a minor key feel so uplifting? Easy, they made the song for dancing, and when we move to music, we feel good. So to get people dancing, they used lots of syncopation in their bass line, and that makes it really funky. And by the way, syncopation is when you accent an off-beat. Also, most funk bass lines are actually in minor keys, cos funk’s favourite notes are the 1, the ♭3 and the ♭7. And lastly, to emphasise all those off-beats in the bass line, the drums accent all the 1/4 note beats by playing the classic four-on-the-floor groove.
