Members of the coronavirus task force are expected to hold a press briefing Tuesday after President Donald Trump said that he is temporarily suspending immigration to the United States in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the “need to protect jobs.” The Covid-19 outbreak has spread to dozens of countries globally, with more than 788,900 cases in the United States and at least 42,485 deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

All preschools and student care centres in Singapore will suspend their general services for a month from Apr 8, Minister Desmond Lee announced on Friday (Apr 3).
