The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Henry A. In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Christine Elliott provide an update on their government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic, including the introduction of Ontario’s new, expanded strategy for COVID-19 testing. They are joined by Dr. David Williams, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health.

Singapore is developing a nationwide COVID-19 testing strategy to better detect COVID-19 cases in the community, National Development Minister Lawrence Wong said in Parliament on Monday (May 4). Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer welcomed the announcement that Parliament is going to be recalled as he said opposition parties need to be able to scrutinise the government.
“We need to know what the exit strategy is,” he said, calling on the Tories to publish their plans for ending the #coronavirus lockdown and developing a vaccine.
