Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As a Survivor, your goal is to escape and avoid being caught and killed.
Calgary Stampede officials announced Thursday that this year’s event, which had been scheduled to start on July 3, is cancelled in light of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
This marks the first time in 100 years the event won’t be held.
The news came as Alberta’s top doctor revealed that a public health order banning gatherings of more than 15 people would remain in place throughout the summer.
Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said summer events and festivals across the province would have to be cancelled. She added that the mass gathering rule would be reassessed in the fall.
