The President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council is convening an informal briefing on “Joining Forces: Effective Policy Solutions for Covid-19 Response” on Monday, 11 May, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EDT.

In this informal briefing, the Council will bring the expertise of the wider United Nations system, to discuss policy solutions that countries can use to combat the pandemic, preserve advances made and get back on track towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General will join Heads of UN System. The CEO of Plan International will moderate the dialogue. read more
