Oh snap! You're watching Rich TVX News Network! The source of raw, breaking news.

Hey guys! Today we’re playing some good, old-fashioned, Pestilens campaign! Skrolk’s starting situation has changed a startling amount since launch since he’s basically got 4 new LL’s within spitting distance (And these unhygienic folks spit on everything!). I’m sure it’s nothing we can’t handle.

I’m not doing a ‘naked’ run for this campaign since I don’t feel like it changed all that much for Tyrion, but we are going to be sticking fairly heavily to the Pestilens theme so we’ll have somewhat limited options for certain challenges. Plaguemonks and Plagueclaw Catapults aren’t the best tools for killing Carnosaurs, after all. Enjoy! read more

The government’s emergency scheme to save millions of jobs by paying most of people’s salaries will be extended until the end of October. The Chancellor Rishi Sunak has told the BBC that many jobs have already been saved by the furlough scheme.

But there’s growing concern about the £14 billion a month cost of the scheme so the Chancellor has announced significant changes.

– Until July the government will continue to pay 80% of wages up to £2,500 per month.

– But from August employers will have to share the cost, as their staff return to work. And employers will be able to bring staff back to work part-time, which isn’t allowed at the moment. read more

The British government has unveiled another massive income support scheme, this time for 5 million or so self-employed people, many of whom face financial ruin from the shock of the coronavirus pandemic.

Treasury chief Rishi Sunak said the new Self-Employed Income Support Scheme will replicate the one he announced last week for those workers that firms retained rather than lay off.

Sunak said the government will pay self-employed people, who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus outbreak, a grant worth 80% of their average monthly profits over the past three years, up to 2,500 pounds ($2,975) per month. read more
