Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick ‘Guillermo’ gets Norman Powell to do a “Canadian shot” of maple syrup, and explain what a Raptor is on the eve of the NBA Finals.

The Golden State Warriors live to fight another day after grinding out a 106-105 win on the road to force a Game 6 back at Oracle Arena.  The Golden State Warriors live to fight another day after grinding out a 106-105 win on the road to force a Game 6 back at Oracle Arena. The Splash Brothers combined for 57 points on 12-of-27 from beyond the arc, both hitting clutch threes down the stretch to seal the win. Here are the player ratings from an enthralling Game 5 contest…Steph Curry – 9 Curry turned it on in Game 5, pouring in 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, knocking down a clutch three to tie the game up after being down six.Kawhi Leonard – 9 Leonard nearly carried the Raptors home, going into takeover mode down the stretch, scoring 10 straight points to give the Raptors the lead late in the fourth. He finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds and six assists after a slow start to the game.Klay Thompson – 9 Thompson knocked down seven threes for his 26 points, saving his best for last with the clutch triple with under a minute remaining to give the Warriors a three-point lead. As usual, he got it done on both ends, coming up with some big defensive posessions on Kawhi Leonard in the fourth quarter.Serge Ibaka – 8 Ibaka continues to provide a spark off the bench for the Raptors, giving them quality minutes in Game 5. Taking advantage of their smaller lineups, Ibaka made his presence felt in the paint, finishing with 15 points and six rebounds.Kyle Lowry – 7 Lowry did a great job dictating the tempo of the Raptors’ offence and finding his teammates for open looks. He came alive in the fourth, scoring seven of his 18 points in the period. Marc Gasol – 7 Gasol had the hot hand early, scoring 10 points in the first quarter. His confidence shooting the ball spread to his teammates as he knocked down shot after shot, recording 17 points and eight rebounds in the win.DeMarcus Cousins – 6 In 19 minutes of action, Cousins was productive inside for the Warriors. Immediately following Durant’s exit, Boogie came up with a huge stretch of play, scoring seven points in the space of three minutes to steady the ship for Golden State. While his presence in the paint gave the Warriors some much-needed size and rebounding, he had a tough time on the defensive end, with the Raptors attacking him in the pick-and-roll.Draymond Green – 6 Green recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in Game 5 and while he struggled to break down the Raptors defence at times, his passing and playmaking were vital to the Dubs’ win. He came up huge on the final posession, getting a fingertip to Kyle Lowry’s potential series-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.  The views on this page do not necessarily reflect the views of the NBA or its clubs read more

The Raptors hold a 2-1 lead over the Warriors after stealing Game 3 on the road. With Klay Thompson returning to the lineup, Golden State will look to bounce back and even the series  The Golden State Warriors will look to even the series at 2-2, bouncing back from their home loss in Game 3. They’ll get their star shooting guard Klay Thompson back for this contest after missing Game 3 with a groin injury. The Toronto Raptors have the opportunity to steal both road games with a win, giving themselves a chance to close out the NBA Finals on their home floor in Game 5. A Warriors loss would also make this potentially the last game played at Oracle Arena. For live updates, stats, highlights and more from Game 4, we have you covered below.Golden State Warriors vs. Toronto RaptorsThird quarter It’s been a fast-paced start to the second half with the Warriors holding on to a two-point lead, 58-56. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have five points apiece, each knocking down one 3-pointer. As intensity picked up, Draymond Green came up with a chase down block on Kyle Lowry that sent Oracle Arena into a frenzy.Halftime: Warriors 46, Raptors 42 With how poorly the Raptors played in the first half, a four-point deficit could be worse. An explanation would be Warriors not named Klay Thompson are 0-for-11 from beyond the arc and as a team, they have 10 turnovers. The Raptors are just 15-for-44 (34.1%) from the field and 2-for-17 (11.8%) from beyond the arc. Kawhi Leonard leads Toronto with 14 points, but went scoreless in the second quarter. Klay Thompson has a team-high 14 points for the Warriors while Draymond Green has six points, seven rebounds and six assists. Stephen Curry had a quiet half, scoring eight points on 4-for-10 shooting from the field, missing all five of his 3-point attempts. Klay Thompson is making his presence felt – he’s scored the Warriors last five points to give them a 42-34 lead with four minutes left in the half. Thompson is up to 14 points shooting 6-for-9 from the field and has the Warriors only two 3-pointers. The Raptors went with an interesting unit to start the second quarter – Fred VanVleet, Danny Green, Norm Powell, Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka – and it worked. Toronto has cut the Warriors’ lead to 31-27 with just under seven minutes left in the half. Ibaka has scored six points in the quarter already to give the Raptors an offensive spark.End of first quarter: Warriors 23, Raptors 17 The Warriors defence was swarming in the first quarter. If not for five-straight points late in the frame from Kawhi Leonard, their lead would be larger. Leonard is locked in with 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the field. The rest of the Raptors’ roster – 1-for-13 from the field and 0-for-6 from beyond the arc.  The Warriors are starting to find a rhythm offensively – they lead 17-10 with 4:06 on the clock. The Raptors are missing quality looks and the Warriors aren’t allowing them to get second chances, as Toronto has zero offensive rebou read more

The Cavaliers put on a highlight show and cruise to a 116-105 victory over the Raptors. LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving scored 77 points and Tristan Thompson knocked down 2 free throws when Dwane Casey went to the Hack-a-TT late in the 3rd.
