Miley Cyrus got emotional during her performance at the Super Bowl LV TikTok Tailgate show.(Gilles Mingasson via Getty Images)Fortunately for the crowd, Cyrus managed to get through the song the second time. She explained herself after completing the track saying: “I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot. “Although “Wrecking Ball” got her emotional, the outlet reports that Cyrus was all-smiles throughout the rest of the show. She appeared at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay where she leaned into her new outfit with a cover of Toni Basil’s “Mickey” changing the lyrics to “Miley. ” She also sang “Prisoner” and Blondie’s “Heart of Glass. “That’s when she turned things up a notch, inviting legendary rocker Joan Jett to the stage to sing a few of her most memorable hits, “Bad Reputation, ” “Bad Karma” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You. “Jett wasn’t the only one bringing some rock n roll star power to the stage. Billy Idol joined Cyrus for a joint performance of “Night Crawling” and a duet of “White Wedding. “ read more

FEMALE DJ REACTS TO The Weeknd’s FULL Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show 🔥 REACTION

One of the greatest traditions during American football games is a halftime show which is
more than a show. Superbowl Performance represents a fundamental link to pop culture,
which helps broaden the television audience and nationwide interest. Every year the Super
Bowl halftime show is more and more amazing and the artists are exposed to an audience
that is exponentially bigger than any they’ve ever encountered in their careers. The
SuperBowl stage was hosted by Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katty Perry, Maroon 5 and others.
Last year, the duo of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira made everyone so impressed and had
about 103 million viewers.
And this year the Super Bowl halftime show was led by The Weeknd which is safe to say
that this year’s show didn’t look quite like any other: a large choir with glowing eyes, an army
of masked dancers, and a golden maze during his set. The “Starboy” used $7 million of his
own money to “make this halftime show be what he envisioned.” The singer called the
performance a dream” and that he was “humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of
that infamous stage this year.”
He told Billboard last month: “We’ve been really focusing on dialing in on the fans at home
and making performances a cinematic experience, and we want to do that with the Super
Bowl.” The Weeknd added that most of the show would take place in the stands, explaining,
“We’re also using the field as well, but we wanted to kind of do something that we’ve never
done before.”
And of course, the performance made people share their reactions. They were amazed but
also came up with numerous memes, poking fun at certain moments from within the act
while also comparing other parts to major pop culture moments.
The largest number of memes were created precisely from the viral moment of the
all-over-the-place camera work: “Me running to the bathroom after eating 4 different cheese
dips for dinner” – said one fan adding the photo of The Weeknd from the golden maze
moment.
“Me trying to follow the hostess to my table at the Cheesecake Factory.” Another said, “4
year old me in the grocery store looking for my mom.”
The photo taken from the moment that was a close-up of Tesfaye’s face went more than viral
and so many people shared this meme with a skyrocket speed: “What my coworkers see on
zoom meetings when I think my camera is off.”
“When your parents try to talk to you on FaceTime”
But here are even more funny memes and really hilarious comparisons. The performance
started with Tesfaye standing before a large choir with glowing eyes. So many fans quickly
compared to two characters from within the Star Wars universe: Jawas and C-3PO. “I knew
the background dancers looked familiar” one fan joked and tweeted with a pair of shots
comparing Tesfaye’s set and the science fiction characters. “Loving #TheWeeknd performing in front of the Galactic Senate from @starwars at
#SuperBowl 🎤” – tweeted another fan. read more

Watch: Miley Cyrus Shoots Her Shot With Harry Styles Miley Cyrus brought some fellow rebels to the Super Bowl this year, and turned the event into a true rock n’ roll show. However, it wasn’t one without some heavy emotions.   The singer, who headlined Super Bowl LV’s “TikTok Tailgate” at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, donned a cheerleader uniform in order to celebrate the kickoff of the football game in front of thousands of frontline workers who have already been vaccinated for the coronavirus.  While Cyrus performed a cover of Toni Basil’s “Mickey” (changing the lyrics to “Miley,” of course), her 2020 hit “Prisoner” and a cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” solo, she also included some interesting collaborators into her career-defining performance.   The former Hannah Montana star was joined by Joan Jett, an artist who clearly had a great deal of influence on Cyrus’ latest album Plastic Hearts, for renditions of three of the former Runaways member’s most memorable hits: “Bad Reputation,” “Bad Karma” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You.”  It wasn’t just Jett who Cyrus included in the pre-show. Billy Idol also graced the stage, where he and Cyrus performed their joint Plastic Hearts track “Night Crawling” and a duet of his song “White Wedding.” Miley’s performance also included covers of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole,” Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl”—for which Cyrus showed off a treadmill performance of on Instagram earlier this week—and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” which she famously released a version of on YouTube in 2012.  She also rocked out to her new tracks “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” “Edge of Midnight” and “Angels Like You,” and threw it back to her more pop-focused past with hits like “We Can’t Stop” and “Party in the U.S.A.”   Things took an emotional turn, however, when it came time for Cyrus to perform her 2012 hit “Wrecking Ball,” which is rumored to be about her now ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. During the performance, Cyrus had to stop to choke back tears and restart the number. She told the crowd before she finished the song, “I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot.”  The artist made it through the other side, though. Following “Wrecking Ball,” she went into her ballad from Hannah Montana: The Movie, “The Climb,” making it the final song of the night. Trending Stories1ExclusiveAll the Details on Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers’ Engagement2ExclusiveAshley Benson Broke Up With G-Eazy Because He Wasn’t “Committed”3Miley Cyrus & Kacey Musgraves Support Britney Spears After Documentary Cyrus has a long history with both Jett and Idol. In 2015, she gave a speech during Jett’s induction into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.   She said of the artist at the time, “I listened to her talk about her days with the Runaways. She talked about music…I was getting to have this moment with someone that, to me, is superwoman. What superwoman really should be.” In addition t read more
