Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has once again recorded his appreciation to all frontliners for their tireless efforts to break the country’s Covid-19 infection chain.
Speaking via a 30-minute video conference with representatives of the country’s frontliners battling the pandemic, Muhyiddin said not only were their efforts being hailed throughout the country, they had also gained international recognition.
The video conference was participated by representatives from the Health Ministry, Malaysian Armed Forces, Royal Malaysia Police, Immigration Department, Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Force, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, and the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela).

Speaking at times through tears, Vanessa Bryant praised her husband’s devotion to their family as she addressed thousands of fans gathered at Staples Center to remember Bryant and 13-year-old Gianna.
Thousands have gathered at a public memorial in Los Angeles to honour the life of Kobe and Gianna Bryant after they were killed in a helicopter crash.
The sold-out memorial service was held at the Staple Centre, which is home to the Los Angeles Lakers, and is known as the “house that Kobe built”.
Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna and six others were killed when a helicopter crashed in Calabasas, California, north of Los Angeles on January 26.
Fighting back tears, Ms Bryant paid tribute to her husband and daughter as she delivered a eulogy.
