New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said there were 2,000 new admissions to hospitals who tested positive for coronavirus and 540 deaths in the state on Friday. Cuomo said called nursing homes “the single biggest fear in all of this.” Watch his remarks.
According to data from 29 states, there have now been more than 5,600 coronavirus-related deaths in long-term care facilities, and more than 3,400 facilities in 39 states are reporting positive cases. NBC senior national correspondent Kate Snow reports for TODAY.
