Since Colin Kaepernick kneel for the first time, protests in the NFL have been a controversial topic with strong reaction. Drew Brees has apologized after receiving backlash and hate from teammates such as Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara and Malcolm Jenkins.
Protesters have been gathering in Washington DC and many other cities to mobilize against racism and police brutality. Tens of thousands braved a hot, humid day to call for reform in the US capital. Calls rang out for people to vote US President Donald Trump out of office. That protest, and others around the world, has arisen from outrage over the death of George Floyd who died while in police custody in Minneapolis almost two weeks ago.

Scotland and Northern Ireland have both reported no new coronavirus deaths as the UK saw its lowest number of fatalities since March.
Scotland’s announcement on Sunday marks the first time it has seen no Covid-19 deaths since lockdown began back in March.
Northern Ireland has previously seen days with no deaths.
Across the UK, a further 77 people have died after contracting coronavirus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 40,542.
However, there are fears that as lockdown is eased, cases across the UK could rise.

The only way that life can return to normal with Coronavius still present is if we reach a sufficient level of herd immunity. This could be achieved by the virus naturally spreading through the population or via a vaccine. The problem is that despite countries unlocking we currently have neither. There is no COVID vaccine yet and according to a whole lot of data we’re not even close to naturally achieving adequate herd immunity.

New analysis from Australian scientists has found around 15 per cent of people with coronavirus are asymptomatic.
That means they’re carriers without having symptoms, and unless they’re tested, they won’t know they have it.
It’s why experts are urging Australians to remain vigilant with distancing as the country unwinds restrictions.
