Former vice president and Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden made his first known public appearance outside his Delaware home in almost two months on Monday to mark the U.S. Memorial Day with a trip to a nearby veteran’s memorial.
Biden along with his wife Jill, both wore black masks and laid a wreath of white roses at the memorial for Second World War and Korean War veterans. He then spoke with veterans, who were also wearing masks, before departing.
The former vice president has been holding campaign events from his home since COVID-19 forced much of the country to stay home.

The wrongful death lawsuit filed by Vanessa Bryant in Los Angeles on Monday said the pilot, Ara Zobayan, was careless and negligent by flying in cloudy conditions and should have aborted the flight. Zobayan was among the nine people killed in the crash.
In her emotional first public words since the death of her NBA star husband, Kobe, and 13-year-old daughter, Vanessa Bryant remembered her loved ones lost during a Los Angeles memorial service to the victims of last month’s helicopter tragedy.
Shaquille O’Neal spoke about his former Laker teammate, comparing their relationship to The Beatles, at Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s Celebration of Life in Los Angeles.
