President Trump provided more details on his immigration ban during Tuesday’s White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing. Mr. Trump said the ban will be reviewed after 60 days and will only apply to those seeking permanent residence in the U.S.

Members of the coronavirus task force are expected to hold a press briefing Tuesday after President Donald Trump said that he is temporarily suspending immigration to the United States in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the “need to protect jobs.” The Covid-19 outbreak has spread to dozens of countries globally, with more than 788,900 cases in the United States and at least 42,485 deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
