Ricky Gervais hosted the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. His opening monologue is really funny with jokes on Caitlyn Jenner, The Martian, Jennifer Lawrence and the importance of these awards. But funnier than that were his witty one liners about every presenter he introduced. Really funny stuff, that’s what makes him Ricky Gervais.

Award season is upon us!
Kicking off the glitzy film accolades is the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards, which celebrates standout performances in film and TV.
British comedian Ricky Gervais will be hosting this year’s event – the After Life star has also presented in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016.
That said, Gervais has confirmed that this will be the last year he’ll be doing the gig.
