Hello! House prices dropped and this is good news for homebuyers! I just made an offer on a new house and it got accepted. No bidding wars and competition! The price of the new house dropped by $25,000 and I also negotiated for $5,000 credit towards closing costs! I know that the media has been talking about the housing market crashing but I do plan on living in my home for a very long time. I’m not scared of the market because I’m well positioned for a crash or correction, whatever that will happen. The Fed has been talking about tapering, possibly next month, early next year, or end of 2022, but we still don’t know for sure. It’s hard to time the market.
