B.C. chief medical officer of health Dr. Bonnie Henry said on Friday that the province had seen four more deaths and 53 new positive cases, bringing the total to 1,174.

She said the number of hospitalizations had gone down to 146 people, with 64 in critical care.

Henry said 641 people have recovered from COVID-19 and are out of isolation.
