Watch: Miley Cyrus Shoots Her Shot With Harry Styles Miley Cyrus brought some fellow rebels to the Super Bowl this year, and turned the event into a true rock n’ roll show. However, it wasn’t one without some heavy emotions.   The singer, who headlined Super Bowl LV’s “TikTok Tailgate” at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, donned a cheerleader uniform in order to celebrate the kickoff of the football game in front of thousands of frontline workers who have already been vaccinated for the coronavirus.  While Cyrus performed a cover of Toni Basil’s “Mickey” (changing the lyrics to “Miley,” of course), her 2020 hit “Prisoner” and a cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” solo, she also included some interesting collaborators into her career-defining performance.   The former Hannah Montana star was joined by Joan Jett, an artist who clearly had a great deal of influence on Cyrus’ latest album Plastic Hearts, for renditions of three of the former Runaways member’s most memorable hits: “Bad Reputation,” “Bad Karma” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You.”  It wasn’t just Jett who Cyrus included in the pre-show. Billy Idol also graced the stage, where he and Cyrus performed their joint Plastic Hearts track “Night Crawling” and a duet of his song “White Wedding.” Miley’s performance also included covers of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole,” Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl”—for which Cyrus showed off a treadmill performance of on Instagram earlier this week—and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” which she famously released a version of on YouTube in 2012.  She also rocked out to her new tracks “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” “Edge of Midnight” and “Angels Like You,” and threw it back to her more pop-focused past with hits like “We Can’t Stop” and “Party in the U.S.A.”   Things took an emotional turn, however, when it came time for Cyrus to perform her 2012 hit “Wrecking Ball,” which is rumored to be about her now ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. During the performance, Cyrus had to stop to choke back tears and restart the number. She told the crowd before she finished the song, “I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot.”  The artist made it through the other side, though. Following “Wrecking Ball,” she went into her ballad from Hannah Montana: The Movie, “The Climb,” making it the final song of the night. Trending Stories1ExclusiveAll the Details on Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers’ Engagement2ExclusiveAshley Benson Broke Up With G-Eazy Because He Wasn’t “Committed”3Miley Cyrus & Kacey Musgraves Support Britney Spears After Documentary Cyrus has a long history with both Jett and Idol. In 2015, she gave a speech during Jett’s induction into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.   She said of the artist at the time, “I listened to her talk about her days with the Runaways. She talked about music…I was getting to have this moment with someone that, to me, is superwoman. What superwoman really should be.” In addition t read more

Esibizione di miley Cyrus insieme a Billy Idol al Super Bowl 2021

Despite unprecedented challenges, Super Bowl LV absolutely rocked our worlds. The game, which ended in victory for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was held in Tampa, Florida, so Tom Brady and his crew definitely put some truth behind that whole home-field advantage idea.

While quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs are no doubt disappointed, they played a decent game and, hey, there’s always next year.

Speaking of excellence, The Weeknd absolutely slayed the halftime show. The heavily-hyped performance included a golden hallway sequence that made some viewers nauseous, and his backup dancers raised eyebrows too. The way we see it: The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. In that sense, the show was a total success. read more

If you thought Gwen Stefani had No Doubt about Blake Shelton, think again.  On Super Bowl Sunday, a new T-Mobile ad reveals the “real” reason the pair got together, showing it all had to do with … what else … spotty phone coverage.  The ad shows Stefani on a call with “The Voice” co-star Adam Levine, telling him she’s ready to start dating again (presumably after her breakup with Gavin Rossdale). Among her many requests, she says she’s after a cultured guy who may be from another country.  Thanks to bad phone coverage, Levine only heard she was looking for someone uncultured from the country, and that led him to his “The Voice” frenemy Shelton. The pair are set up on a date, and hilarity ensues.  T-Mobile says don’t trust your love life to “just any network,” but considering Shelton and Stefani are now engaged, maybe bad coverage isn’t so bad after all? The Weeknd performed in the Super Bowl LV halftime show Sunday night.  The Weeknd took the stage Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers battled for the championship title.  The Weeknd started the show off with his hit single “Starboy” after being lowered into the stadium from the ceiling. Pretty exceptional intro made even cooler by the wall of backup singers he had on the stage.  Of course, he followed up with “The Hills.”  The choreography for “Can’t Feel My Face” with the funhouse mirror mazes was amazing.    We even got on-field choreography that definitely gave me Beyoncé vibes, but I really enjoyed it. The transition from “House Of Balloons” into “Blinding Lights” was what we needed from this show.  The show naturally ended with a fireworks show for the ages.    This halftime performance was a little different than the past years. With coronavirus keeping the stadium from filling up, the show was geared more for the people watching from home. The Weeknd even spent $7 million of his own money on the show to make it exactly what he wanted it to be, according to his manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby.    Performing at the Super Bowl has been a career goal for The Weeknd.  “We always had the Super Bowl on our bucket list, and we’ve always had timelines for all of our goals,” The Weeknd’s other manager Amir “Cash” Esmailian told Billboard. “It came a few years earlier than we expected.” read more

Jake from State Farm, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes are taking a break from filming their Super Bowl LV ad, and it seems Aaron and Patrick have a bone to pick with Jake. Why are their stand-ins for a Big Game ad people who look nothing like them? Aaron Rodgers’ thinks that wearing a cheesehead makes him a Packer, and, though Paul Rudd might boast some Kansas City roots, his ball-handling skills look nothing like Mahomes’. Only Jake is happy with his – but who wouldn’t be happy with a stand-in like Drake? Until Drake tries to steal his lines, that is. read more

GWEN Stefani playfully dissed her fiancée Blake Shelton as “uncultured” in a brand new Superbowl Commercial with Adam Levine.  The famed couple took a comedic stance for their T-Mobile advertisement, where they joked about their vastly different backgrounds.   Follow our Super Bowl live blog for the latest news & updates  The scene began as Gwen sat poolside in California and Facetimed her co-star and friend Adam Levine while the words ‘A Few Years Ago’ played on the screen.  The blonde bombshell told her fellow singer than she was “ready to start dating again” and was “sick of L.A. guys.”  “I want someone completely different, maybe from another country. And someone cultured and sensitive and who’s not threatened by a strong confident woman,” she explained.  Due to spotty network connection, Adam heard a completely different interpretation of Gwen’s request.  Through the video cutting in and out the Maroon 5 singer gathered: “I’m sick of L.A. guys. I want someone completely country. Uncultured, and threatened by a strong confident woman.”  Next, Blake Shelton walked up to the table singing: “It’s not wings or nachos, it’s wings and nachos! Hey, send my onion rings down here!”  Adam laughed as he focused back on the phone call: “I have your guy.”  Later, Blake and Gwen met on a blind date, where they were shocked at the match.  The country music singer stomped over to meet his date in a pair of cowboy boots with spurs, to which she gave a disapproving glare.  The No Doubt singer scoffed: “Blake? Um… oh my god hilarious right? I mean, no.”  The Voice star’s future husband replied: “What do you mean?”  Gwen then trolled the God’s Country singer: “Are you wearing spurs? Did you ride a horse here?” to which he replied: “Yeah!”  At the very end of the commercial, Blake asked Gwen if she’d like a ride home, and she shot a little smirk back. read more
