I am a fetus being created by Jesus
fearfully and wonderfully made, amazed at this Genius
My brain with its pieces and my face with its features
are being stitched together like they’ve been made by a seamstress
In my mother’s womb, I’m being woven together
Spilling over from His joy, the overflow of His pleasure
“Intricately weaving me” (רֻקַּמְתִּי) – it has me baffled
that’s the same word for the embroidering of the veil in the tabernacle (Ps. 139:15; Ex. 28:36)
Your eyes saw my Embryo, tendons grow (Ps. 139:16)
Then My tiny ten fingers grow, then my toes – ten of those
Your Presence is all around – it’s all profound
You see me in my Mommy’s womb before she had an ultrasound
You planned my birth – I am your Handiwork
The Same Hands who made the expanse and the planet earth!
You’ve begun My little tongue to give an abundance of praise
Your love is displayed in how I am wonderfully made
At the moment of conception, You’ve begun my soul
Psalm 139:14 – this word for “Wonderful” (נִפְלָאִ֥ים)
is the one place in Scripture where the natural
is described as SuperNatural cuz this act of crafting me is so Masterful!
Do you see this glory that’s revealed by the LORD?
Feeding me from my Mother from my Umbilical cord?
I can’t wait for the sight – to see her face in the light,
