Adriana Lima is best known as Victoria’s Secret’s longest-running model, who was contracted with the lingerie company from 1999 to 2018. But before she became Victoria’s Secret’s most recognizable face, she was discovered when she won first place in Ford’s “Supermodels of Brazil” model search in 1996.
A year later she was signed with Elite Model Management and moved to the fashion capital of the world, New York City. In the next two years, Lima made her runway debut with some of the fashion world’s top brands and became one of the world’s most sought-after supermodels.
