President Trump disputes China coronavirus numbers, as he dismisses feud with CDC

President Donald Trump has insisted that the number of coronavirus cases reported by China “weren’t correct”.

Speaking during a meeting with the governors of Arkansas and Kansas, the US President stated, without evidence, that it has “been easily shown and easily proven” that China is manipulating their virus numbers.

He added that he “saw more problem on television than they were reporting just by looking at a picture”

During the meeting Donald Trump was also questioned about his feud with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

He called reports “fake news”, saying “I think he’s done a very good job. I think my whole team has done a very good job.”
