During the special Pokemon Direct focusing on Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, loads of new info on the games was revealed, including the new Dynamax system for giant Pokemon, the new four-player raids, and the gyms to battle in. The Direct also showed some of the characters you'll meet in the game, and many new pokemon you'll encounter.
