Samedi 30 janvier sur Instagram, Pauline Tantot a dévoilé un nouveau cliché sur lequel elle prend la pose simplement vêtue d’un t-shirt habilement retroussé. Rien d’autre. De quoi titiller l’imagination de ses nombreux et nombreuses fans… Pauline Tantot +suivre -ne plus suivre Mathilde Tantot +suivre -ne plus suivre Durant l’été 2016, Instagram accueillait deux nouvelles utilisatrices dans le plus grand secret… Deux bordelaises franco-perses qui n’allaient pas tarder à devenir de véritables icônes… Cinq ans plus tard, Pauline et Mathilde Tantot cumulent plus de quatorze millions de curieux et curieuses abonnés à leurs comptes Instagram. Une réussite fulgurante pour les deux créatrices de la marque de maillot de bain Khassani Swimwear. À tout juste vingt-six ans, les deux jeunes femmes ont de solides arguments à faire valoir… Leurs publications laissent en effet apprécier leur plastique sculpturale et les courbes callipyges avec lesquelles elles assurent la promotion de leurs création. Mais les deux mannequins se montrent pourtant extrêmement consciencieuses avec leur vie privée, ne laissant filtrer que très peu d’informations. Ainsi, comme l’expliquait Pauline sur le plateau de De quoi j’me mêle au mois de juillet 2020 : « C’est plus une pudeur à l’intérieur, personnelle (…) On est très discrètes et très différentes de ce que l’on montre sur les réseaux. »« Moins de vêtements… » Avec 589 publications, Pauline a pris une sévère avance sur sa soeur. Samedi 30 janvier, elle a creusé cet écart en dévoilant une nouvelle photographie sur laquelle elle pose sans culotte, les jambes chastement croisées, vêtue d’un t-shirt retroussé sur lequel est écrit « Plus que des amis, moins que des amants »… Elle précise d’ailleurs en légende : « Aucune légende n’est nécessaire ». Une véritable invitation à commenter pour ses thuriféraires : « Aucun sous-vêtement ne semble nécessaire non plus… », « Cela veut dire que je suis ton meilleur ami pour la vie », « En d’autres termes, le t-shirt aurait pu porter la mention “Amis avec avantages ” », « Personne ne regarde la légende de toute façon », « Moins de vêtements, plus de chair… » Bien observé ! L’optimisme des années 50 qui traverse la société est totalement partagé par le PDG de la société, Frank (Chris Pine) – à la fois dirigeant d’entreprise visionnaire et coach de développement personnel – et imprègne le moindre aspect du quotidien dans cette bulle utopique en plein désert californien. Tandis que les hommes passent toute la journée au sein du QG du Projet Victory, en travaillant sur le « développement de matériaux de pointe », leurs femmes, à l’image de Shelley (Gemma Chan), épouse élégante de Frank, vivent dans le luxe et l’oisiveté. La vie est parfaite dans cet environnement où le moindre désir des résidents est satisfait par l’entreprise. En échange, ils s’engagent à garder une discrétion totale et à faire preuve d’une adhésion inébranlable à la cause Victory. Mais lorsque des failles commencent à se manifester, révélant une sombre réalité au-delà d’une façade séduisante, Alice ne peut s’empêcher de se poser des questions : Pourquoi Frank et elle sont-ils là ? Quel est le véritable objectif du Projet Victory ? Mais Alice est-elle prête à tout perdre pour découvrir l’envers du décor de son ilot paradisiaque ?
