MY TRIP TO TAHITI | ALEXIS REN
This is my personal journey teaming up with Coral gardeners and learning about who they are and what they do. I left truly inspired and grateful that we have people dedicating their lives to saving our planet. Let's support these wonderful people.
We have ALREADY lost 50% of our coral reefs in the last 3 decades. If we donāt act now, by 2050 our oceans will be graveyards. This is horrifying because only 1/3 of all oxygen on Earth is made from land plants, the rest is FROM OUR OCEANS. This is a global issue that affects all of us. The ocean has been a home of mine since I was a little girl, but only this year did I realize the extremely crucial part that it plays in making earth habitable for humans. The fact that this crisis isnāt all over the news is shocking to me. If we not only save but also regenerate our reefs, then we are one step closer to sustaining life on Earth. The time is right now, and thanks to organizations like @coralgardeners we have people dedicating their lives to healing our oceans and SAVING US!! But they need our help. Right now, they are limited in resources and need us to radically globalize their reach so that we can have teams everywhere rebuilding and protecting our reefs. By sharing this video we are not only spreading awareness, but helping fund the expansion of this project.
We all have a voice. We must address these issues ourselves, and stop waiting for someone else to take action. It really is up to US.
