During this pandemic, artistic avenues have been cut off and/or very limited. This pandemic has given me the time to reflect on what has been accomplished over the last 6+ years. This video isn't to be braggadocious, but it is to highlight personal growth.
The late nights, the moves that were made and the work put in makes me proud of where my family is at today.
For those who know me, you know Russ is one of my favorite artists. He writes, mixes, masters, produces and performs the majority of his music. He also negotiated his own deal(s) so that he maintains ownership over his music/brand. Ownership, hard work, consistency and remembering where you come from is highlighted in his message.
This month marks my 16th year Breaking and over that period of time, I've realized that you have to your own moves. Going from Breaking in my mom's basement, to my own... There's no handouts and you have to have passion. Follow YOUR vision, YOUR dreams in order to succeed. People may support you, others may hate on you and most don't even pay attention, so live your life to the fullest & go for your goals as hard as you can.
