Coronavirus: Is Life in Wuhan Back to Normal?

The lockdown that gripped the China’s city of Wuhan, the original epicenter of the coronavirus, is starting to ease.

Robin has been locked down in China’s Covid-19 epicenter. He used to go out like in full protective gear. Now he’s only wearing a face mask. But life is still tough in Wuhan.

Two months after locking down the city’s 11 million residents, China declared victory over the coronavirus this week, saying ground zero of the pandemic will reopen for business by April 9. Despite a staggering 50,006 cases and 2,531 deaths, Wuhan’s numbers have stabilized. Meanwhile the U.S. has just overtaken China for the most cases worldwide.
