In this episode of Bubsy for the SNES, Peter plays it! Bubsy was not only a big part of my childhood, but represents the first time in Nintendo's history that the company became vulnerable.
Sega had established itself with the fast-talking, sassy Sonic (and Sonic 2), and the SNES retorted with a slew of new mascots, almost all of which were commercially unsuccessful. Bubsy was one of these!
We also discuss the Nintendo Play Station, a precursor to the Sony Playstation.
