Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw provided an update on the most recent numbers of COVID-19 in the province on Tuesday and discussed the government’s ongoing response to the pandemic. The province’s Health Minister Tyler Shandro was also present during the briefing.
It was announced that Alberta will be receiving a $1.7-million donation from the Calgary Health Trust, which would help boost the provinceβs COVID-19 testing capacity to more than 16,000 tests a day by June.
Now until Aug. 2, businesses can sign up to collect supplies, then bring the collected supplies to the Markets at Town Center to help stuff the buses.
