US President Donald Trump has clashed with his top Covid-19 adviser Dr Anthony Fauci, accusing him of wanting "to play all sides of the equation”.
The US’ top infectious disease expert urged caution about reopening schools, and the economy.
"We don't know everything about this virus and we really better be pretty careful, particularly when it comes to children," Fauci told a Senate committee.
But Mr Trump described it as “not an acceptable answer”.
"Our country's got to get back and it's got to get back as soon as possible. And I don't consider our country coming back if the schools are closed," he said.
