Coronavirus outbreak: New York doctor shows day in life at hospital during COVID-19 crisis
Dr. Umesh Gidwani, chief of cardiac care at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, took video of himself to give a "day in the life" perspective of what he and his colleagues have been dealing with during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gidwani introduces several doctors and nurses working in his unit as they work to save "as many lives as possible."
At the end of the day, in which one person died, Gidwani says he hopes to "scrub the coronavirus off my body, if not my soul" when he leaves the hospital.
