A Crayon Project Born from Natural Disaster in Hokkaido, Japan
Keizo Funatsu, famed south-pole explorer, is part of a different kind of project in 2020. When natural disaster hit the many farms and agricultural workers of Hokkaido, NIKI Hills Winery (Funatsu included) responded by making use of the damaged produce, and turning it once again into something useful― and beautiful. (Tackling some of the UN's sustainable development goals and donating a portion of proceeds to good causes, to boot!)
